205 Live has some tremendous competitors like Drew Gulak, Leo Rush, Gran Metalik and Buddy Murphy, just to name a few. Tonight’s wrestling viewing started with last week’s 205 live. Great stuff. I love the Leo Rush character.
205 has great promo videos, but suffers a bit from being showcased on the main roster. It's a shame that the 205 Live house shows didn’t draw better. Things might have been different.
Personally, I would love to see NXT become more of its own thing. Amping up house shows, and increasing pay. Then they can absorb 205. They have the talent. I don’t watch the main shows like Smackdown or RAW, just because of time. This would be great. Keep it two hours. It would be like WCW. I would love it.

Both of these guys could challenge for the Cruiserweight Title at anytime and make a good case for it. This was a fast-paced affair that didn't let up for one second! It was awesome! Rush really impressed me. Before this, I had only really known him as the guy that botched twitter after Emma got released. And the guy that is friends with Patrick Clark (Velveteen Dream).
Rush is doing big things and it showed in this match. Tozawa made me want to see him get called up further. I would love to see a Akira Tozawa vs. Seth Rollins feud for the Intercontinental strap. Or at the very least, a good team-up between he and Apollo Crews again. The Monster Express was great in NOAH. Tony Nese & Buddy Murphy vs. Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik August 21st 2018
This match was ferocious! Tony Nese is one of my favorites in 205 Live. He has the look, the charisma and the fans pop pretty good for him. Dorado and Gran Metalik looked phenomenal. They had a few hiccups, but it was nothing that took away from the match. Buddy Murphy is gearing up to be a huge star. I can't wait to see him take on Cedric Alexander in a cracker of a match!

I was very sad to learn about the passing of Jim Neidhart. The Hart Foundation is my favorite tag team, and his inclusion in just about every incarnation was pivotal. Stu Hart referred to Neidhart as a rhino. Maybe a rhino that is light on his feet and twice as brutal. Neidhart was a legend in the ring and has a legacy that will live on for eternity.
Jim Neidhart vs. Bad News Allen
Damn! This big rhinoceros fellow can really go! I mean it. Neidhart looked awesome. Bad News did too, but Neidhart was like a damn bruiserweight out there. I love watching these old matchups from the Stampede days.
The Hart Foundation vs. The British Bulldogs - WWF Tag Team Titles
Woah the crowd is unglued! Davey Boy and Dynamite Kid looked amazing. Hell everyone did! Neidhart was flying all over the place. This was a great matchup that showed the fluidness of all of these guys working together. They had all come up in Calgary during the Stampede Wrestling days. It is the first part to the Danny Davis saga featuring The Hart Foundation, The Bulldogs, Randy Savage and Tito Santana. He was a smarmy ref that got a lot of heel heat.
The Hart Foundation & Danny Davis vs. The British Bulldogs & Tito Santana
This match took place at Wrestlemania III. A decent matchup, but Danny Davis is a laughable element. Bret and Neidhart look great, both are in their prime as the WWF Tag Champs. Tito Santana looked great too. The crowd was going nuts for him.

The Rock vs. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar - WWE Undisputed Title
Holy hell Brock looked like the Incredible Hulk. He was insane. I mean, he’s still insane but damn. Triple H was jakked too. His entrance was standard for the post-Attitude Era WWE. Flashing lights, Motorhead and spitting water.
Then the Rock came out and I am sure a small earthquake was registered in Melbourne that night. He looked like money as the defending champion.
Triple H looked like he was running the ring. They all looked good, but Trips and Rock were clearly the veterans. Brock looked green. He got comfortable quick. It was a brutal match. Everything was so crisp. H Face even got color!
AJ Styles vs. Rick Michaels
He was green but you could see a phenomenal future.
Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels - Loser Leaves UPW
A good little matchup, but we can only see so much. Joe looked like a beast and Daniels cut a great promo.
